Mentoring Services
The word mentor has its roots in Greek mythology, referring to a character in The Odyssey, in whose guise Athena served as guardian and teacher of Odysseus’ son, Telemachus. Whether or not the original Mentor was a wise advisor, today the term is generally defined as a trusted advisor or wise counselor.
The difference between a mentor and a coach is subtle but significant. As a mentor my focus is on inspiration, encouragement and insight, helping you to get clear about who you are and what you want in life so you can develop to your full potential. It is a whole person approach that always keeps the ‘self’ at the center; a highly creative and collaborative process where we discuss, illuminate and clarify the issues and then brainstorm together the path forward.
