Cathleen O'Connor is an inspirational speaker, writer and workshop leader who holds a vision of healing for individuals, groups and organizations that encompasses healthy boundaries, joyful work and a deep connection to spirit. Using her unique High Fives™ approach to balanced living, Cathleen encourages the integration and acknowledgement of five key ingredients necessary for a fulfilling life experience: vital health, meaningful relationships, meaningful work, creative play and spiritual practice.

Cathleen's unique perspective comes from a varied career in corporate management, spiritual study and alternative wellness practices. As a corporate vice president culminating a 30-year career in technology and technology management, Cathleen saw and experienced first-hand the stresses on the modern American worker trying to balance an ever-more demanding workplace with time for self and loved ones. As an entrepreneur and owner of a successful wellness center, StoneWater Sanctuary® in Westchester County, NY, Cathleen saw the value in integrating a variety of wellness approaches to maintain physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.

As a metaphysical minister and counselor with a PhD awarded by the University of Metaphysics in 2000, Cathleen has sustained her commitment to the spiritual underpinnings of life and to finding ways to make spirituality practical in application so real change can be experienced.

As an author of articles and her book, Harriet Steps off the Wheel: A Modern Day Fable about Work/Life Balance, Cathleen found a way to present a complex subject in an accessible and inspirational format that has profoundly touched many women's lives.

In 1999, Cathleen became certified as a Stress Management Consultant (CSMC) by the International Association of Counselors and Therapists (IACT) and offers workshops and lectures to organizations entitled The Stress Experience.

Cathleen leads a monthly spiritual living study group at StoneWater SanctuaryŽ at Opal Moon in Croton, NY and continues to speak and write on a variety of topics which support personal and professional growth and development.
